Backend-focused fullstack developer with 10+ years of commercial experience. I usually take ownership of backend architecture, APIs, integrations, adapter layers, database-heavy features, and gradual legacy rewrites. In some projects that means evolving a live product without breaking delivery; in others it means building the system from scratch around domain logic, admin flows, payments, and external services. In recent work I rebuilt core backend flows, connected 8+ external providers behind one adapter layer, and stepped into React and TypeScript when the product needed frontend support.

Senior Backend Developer (2025 - Present)

2025 - now product backend + platform rewrite

Product backend role focused on keeping a legacy commercial platform stable while migrating its core logic to a new engine without disrupting the live product.

New Engine in ~3 Months

Rebuilt the core backend engine in about three months while the legacy branch stayed live, clearing the architectural limits that had been blocking new features.

External Providers and Billing

Integrated 8+ external providers and 3 billing systems behind a unified adapter layer with shared retries, stock sync, and provisioning, so adding a new provider became a routine, low-risk task.

Hot Paths and Stability

Profiled the heaviest API endpoints, database queries, and background jobs. After tuning the hot paths, the service stopped falling over under peak load and became much easier to operate.

Supported a legacy codebase, fixed production issues, extended backend and frontend functionality, then rebuilt a large backend API on a modern Laravel stack. Built an online research platform for marketing and social surveys with participant rewards, a role-based admin panel, configurable survey flows, answer processing, email notifications, newsletters, and Excel import/export workflows.
